Apostolic Pentecostal Church

Pastor Curtis G. and Minnie Wheat

The local Apostolic Pentecostal Church was founded in 1975 by Pastor Curtis G. and Minnie Wheat.  There was no Apostolic Pentecostal Church in the area at that time.  Feeling the call of God to establish an Apostolic Pentecostal Church in the Saint Cloud area, land was purchased and the original building constructed.

Pastor Wheat was elected to serve as the sectional presbyter for the United Pentecostal Church, a position he filled for 21 years until he resigned to devote more attention to the local church.  Sister Wheat served as the Ladies Ministries Secretary for over 20 years.  During his work as presbyter, Pastor Wheat was responsible for starting the annual section youth retreat and the sectional men's retreat, both of which continue today.

Pastor and Sister Wheat have three married daughters, two of which are a part of the church work today.  Our Pastor and his family continue to be an inspiration to our local church family.  Pastor and Sister Wheat  are grateful for the church and invite you to come and be a part of the family of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
